Halloween Horror Book Recommendation:
Favorite horror read so far this year is Little Heaven by Nick Cutter.
Favorite Scary Movie:
I’m a bit of a weirdo and only read horror, not watch it. I forced myself to watch the new IT and I enjoyed it very much.
Phobia:
Arachnophobia, trypophobia, claustrophobia, and sharks.
Favorite Halloween Costume:
I dress up like a Gypsy Witch every year for Halloween because I dress like that pretty much year round. Every woman needs a pair of striped tights.

Halloween Horror Book Recommendation:
Pet Semetary by Stephen King (as it is my favorite King) and Summer of Night by Dan Simmons. Both gave me restless nights!
Favorite Scary Movie:
As a horror movie buff, I can’t pick just one. So I’ll go for 3 – The Excorcist is a must, as well as Evil Dead (both the original and remake are awesome) and Sinister.
Phobia:
Deep water, moths, and someone cracking the spines of my books.
Favorite Halloween Costume:
When I dressed up as Poison Ivy from Batman.

Halloween Horror Book Recommendation:
I would recommend horror classics such as my two favorites, Dracula and Frankenstein. A more recent horror favorite is Dark Tales by Shirley Jackson.
Favorite Scary Movie:
My favorite horror film is one that’s so bad it’s good, which is Sleepwalkers (adapted from the Stephen King screenplay). I think it’s a favorite as I watched it when I was so young. A more recent (and possible all time) favorite is the new IT film (I see a theme here).
Favorite Stephen King book:
My favorite Stephen King book is IT and I also loved the Dark Tower series. I spent my high school years reading everything by King and Dean Koontz.
Favorite Halloween Costume:
Halloween isn’t that big over here in the UK (boo!) but I would love to dress up as Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Or maybe Oogie Boogie would be easier?

Halloween Horror Book Recommendation:
The Grove by John Rector. I don’t get a chance to recommend him enough. This book is subtle horror but so messed up. The Cold Kiss by Rector is also brilliant.
Favorite Scary Movie:
My favorite horror movie changes almost weekly, but my current must-see recommendation is The Witch. Cabin in the Woods is an all time fave, and the new IT adaptation was fantastic.
Phobia:
I’m a HUGE germaphobe.
Favorite Halloween Costume:
My favorite Halloween costume was the year I went to work as a dead prom queen. I had full makeup and a dead corsage.
Favorite Stephen King Book:
IT

Halloween Horror Book Recommendation:
My favorite horror book at the moment is Brother by Ania Ahlborn. I also recommend The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson to read around Halloween.
Favorite Scary Movie:
I’m not a huge horror movie person, but The Excorcist scared the shibbity out of my 12-year-old soul. Also, Scream because it’s a classic.
Phobia:
I’m afraid of rats. Dumpster, rabid rats. Actually pretty much all small rodents.
Favorite Halloween Costume:
Probably when I was a zombie bride because it was my wedding reception, so I was quite literally a zombie bride.

Halloween Horror Book Recommendation:
American Psycho by Ellis, Little Heaven by Cutter, and for Halloween vibes, The October Country by Ray Bradbury.
Favorite Scary Movie:

Halloween for a good slasher nostalgia film, Silent Hill for atmosphere, and The Vvitch for a good historic commentary on the horrors of mankind.
Phobia:

Claustrophobia, water I can’t see through, and unknowingly being watched.

Halloween Horror Book Recommendation:
My favorite horror novel is probably still Needful Things. It was the very first Stephen King book I read, and it’s stayed close to my heart ever since. Summer of Night by Dan Simmons is another amazing horror novel that I think everyone needs smashed right into their face.
Favorite Scary Movie:
Pet Sematary is easily the movie that’s disturbed me the most over the years. If you say the name Zelda to me, and we’re not talking about video games, I’m liable to end up blacked out on the floor. The Halloween and Friday the 13th franchises, along with Re-Animator, were all a big part of my teenage years, and are still some all-time favorites! More recently the Evil Dead remake and the new IT were totally amazing!
Phobia:
As a kid, I was terrified of toads. As an adult… I’m still pretty terrified of toads. Little fuckers always jumping out at me unexpectedly when I’m mowing the lawn. *shudders*

disclaimer: Ingrid is not actually that into Horror, but I couldn’t resist including her on this list. I mean, look at those photos! Can you blame me!?

Halloween Horror Book Recommendation:
I haven’t read many horror books, but of the ones I’ve read I’d say The Shining by King (not the movie, the movie was terrible).
Favorite Scary Movie:

My favorite scary movie is Insidious which is the perfect scary movie, but the scariest move I’ve ever seen is Event Horizon.
Phobia:

I’m slightly agoraphobic and slightly mysophobic. And I hate clowns and baby dolls and gore (like the Saw movies, I hate those).
